PARKSIDE

This dream home is a rancher with a full basement. Designed and built by Sonbuilt Custom Homes. Our clients goal was to own a home they could live in and feel safe in during their retirement years, yet still have space for their growing grandchildren to play.

SHIRAZ

This couple came to us with many ideas and photos. They planned this home, especially their dream kitchen, for a long time. A formal dining room, columns, and wainscoting give this tuscan themed home a traditional, warm feeling. Large windows, open kitchen, and spacious great room make this home ideal for entertaining.

DRYSDALE

Designed for a busy family. This high performance home has all the perks of energy efficiency, healthy indoor air quality, and comfortable living. Built to meet a strict budget while maintaining important features to keep those energy bills low.

WOODLAND

A beautiful rancher style home featuring one level living and many aging in place features. We included a caretakers suite in the basement to ensure our client could live independently and safely in the home for many years to come.

ELEMENT

A highly unique project where we renovated a commercial building and worked with Dan Sawatzky of Sawatzky Imagination Corporation to create this unusual boardroom.

GIDEON

Located in a desirable neighbourhood surrounded by mountain views, soaring eagles, and plenty of fresh air. Sonbuilt Custom Homes designed and built this home for a small family who envisioned living in the country to escape the busy city life.

RIVERBEND

Wood finishing compliments nearly every aspect of this home and we continued the theme into the new addition. A lot of time and detail went into installing, sanding, and staining of the wood. We fell in love with the results! And so did our client!

A cozy rancher with an upstairs games room. Our client for this home was looking for an economical design that would best suit his growing family with young children. We designed and built this home with their needs in mind.

MEADOWS

Sometimes your home just needs a facelift. This couple updated their cabinetry and flooring to give their home a brand new feeling. We also improved the indoor air quality by adding a heat recovery ventilator and made the overall home more energy efficient by adding spray foam.

HOLLYHOCK

A farmhouse themed coach house for a growing family in need of additional space. We designed and built this small but perfectly sized home for a couple who wanted their family property to include the next generation.

CORVINA

Open entertaining area featuring expansive kitchen, dining area and great room accented with vaulted ceiling, extraordinary finishing details and large windows. This home is stunning!

SOLARIS

This High Performance Home is a Holmes Approved Home and built to Net Zero standards. Designed as a showhome, this home is brimming with curb appeal and neighborhood charm. Solar panels were installed as one of the ways to ensure monthly bills were kept at an all time low.

DOMINA

Our client planned this home over several years. The result is an elegant, tastefully finished mini estate home, carefully designed and built by Sonbuilt Custom Homes to suit a corner lot. This home is truly a charming addition to a family oriented neighborhood.

FIRST SONBUILT HOME

We couldn't resist including this home to our portfolio. This was the first Sonbuilt home and it was built nearly 30 years ago. A one level rancher with wide doorways and hallways, level front entry, and other features to support aging in place. This home continues to be a showpiece and has stood the test of time.

PANAMA

Busy and active grandparents, our clients for this custom home were getting ready for some fun retirement years! While in no way ready to slow down, they did want a number of aging-in-place details incorporated into both the design and construction of the home.

HOMESTEAD

This Sonbuilt coach house combined metal, wood, and shakes to create a West Coast Stunner! The suite was the ideal home for this couple and the garage provided plenty of space for personal hobbies. We also installed a rainwater harvesting system for the homeowner.

BROOKSIDE

A fun renovation at Abbotsford's popular boutique hotel "Brookside Inn". We added 2 additional suites and worked with the owners, Chris and Sandy, to ensure the finishes matched the already existing tasteful interior decor.

STONEHAVEN

Better performance. Better layout. Better living. We air sealed this home from top to bottom, upgraded the heating system, and reimagined the interior layout to suit our client's needs — then capped it off with a stunning backyard water feature.
