Architectural Designer & Project Coordinator

Designing Final Home

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • Drafting and design using AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, and Twinmotion
  • Collaborate with clients to turn ideas into function designs
  • Communicate with trades and suppliers
  • Assist with plan submissions
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets
  • Understand BC Building Code standards
  • Produce renderings and layouts for marketing
  • Assist clients with choosing finishes

ABOUT YOU

You’re a motivated learner who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a collaborative environment, and loves the variety that comes with working on both design and construction related tasks.  You have experience in designing new homes, are comfortable with quantity estimations, and have an eye for interior and exterior finishes.  You want to deepen both your technical and practical knowledge of residential construction while contributing to high quality custom home builds.

POSITION ESSENTIALS

  • Hours per Week:  Full time – 40 hours
  • Location:  Onsite in Abbotsford, BC (with local travel to jobsites when needed)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, and Twinmotion
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Solid understanding of residential construction and quantity take-offs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Skilled communicator and personable
